Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne spoke to the media about his recent injury that will sideline him until the end of the season. The Italy international started hitting top form but saw his progress halted by a torn ACL.
In his interview with Sky Insigne said:
“I have to remain calm and work as hard as possible in order to recover as quickly as possible. I’m working well with doctor De Nicola’s staff that have made themselves available to me. I’ll be working with them as hard as I can until the end giving my all.”
On the worst moment of the injury:
“The worst moment of this injury was when they give me the results following my visit at the Villa Stuart. The important thing is to accept this well on the psychological level. I’m satisfied by the phone calls from champions like Del Piero, Zanetti, and from the Azzurri boss Antonio Conte. I’m really happy from all the phone calls.”
