Antonio Candreva spoke to Inter Channel shortly after Inter’s 1-1 draw vs Palermo.

“I am happy for my assist. I’m here to help to help my teammates score and win matches. Unfortunately today we did not get there, there is still a lot to work on.

“Palermo’s arrangement frustrated us, but we have to be ready because many teams will come to the San Siro and close themselves down in the same way they did. It would have been better to go to the national team with a victory, but it’s on us to work on bettering that.

The crowd’s applause? I did not hear them as there was a lot of tension on the pitch. I thank the fans, we wanted a different debut in front of our home crowd.”
