Inter manager Frank De Boer spoke in a press conference with Wednesday’s Europa League game in sight.
“The big foreign publications have been talking mainly about our upcoming match against Juventus, however those who work with and in this club know what the most important thing is, the next match. We’re going to try to go out and play our football, hopefully the supporters can see this.
“In the end the most important thing for us is getting those three points.”
These remarks come following Inter’s poor start the Serie A campaign, which includes only one victory and that against newly promoted Pescara.
There is a serious project surrounding Inter, and they have been preaching patience, but the question still remains, after multiple seasons of sub-par football, how patient are the Inter faithful? Hopefully with Europa League football this year, Inter can prove that they can still perform in Europe even after a long hiatus.
