Inter managing director Marco Fassone spoke with Mediaset regarding his club’s approach to the upcoming transfer window.
“Gifts for Mancini? We must be diligent and careful to maintain an economic equilibrium and respect the regulations in force. We will do the impossible to satisfy Mancini, but with caution and without breaking the rules.”
Speaking of the rules, Inter is still under UEFA investigation for irregularities with financial fair play (FFP).
“The regulations have been in effect since 2010, however perhaps we all pretended they did not exist and are just realizing this now as the first sanctions have been levied. This is an important time, we are being controlled by UEFA and are in a dialogue with them. We have presented our plans and are waiting for their feedback.”
