The Argentine talisman will not be leaving Milano this winter.
Currently in a Champions League race, Inter does not want to lose their prized possession in the form of Mauro Icardi.
The striker has had a tremendous start to the season, scoring 18 goals in 20 games, pushing Inter to victory more times than not. However, with that many goals it’s no wonder why he’s garnering interest from Europe’s elite.
Enter Real Madrid, PSG, Arsenal and Bayern Munich, all of which are interested in taking the number 9 off Inter’s hands, according to Sky Sport Italia.
At the same time, Inter are not excluding the possibility of renewing his contract with the sole intention on raising his value or release clause. Currently, the clause is set at €110 million but after the transfer fees paid by the likes of Barcelona and PSG for Dembele, Neymar, Coutinho and Mbappe, Inter think they can get much more.
For now, Icardi’s staying put but the summer may tell a different tale…
