According to Gianluca di Marzio, Inter will be on the lookout for a midfielder during the January transfer window, preferably on a dry loan.
Piero Ausilio has already made contacts with a series of clubs and is waiting for their availability to let the players go on a loan spell. The players in question, Lucas Leiva, Luiz Gustavo and Lass Diarra, have all already expressed their appreciation for a transfer to Inter, so this shouldn’t be an obstacle.
Nonetheless, Liverpool and Wolfsburg haven’t yet opened up to the possibility of a loan, though this will be the only possible way for Inter in January. In fact, the nerazzurri are currently under strict FFP regulations and won’t have great freedom on the market until this Summer.
Another name that has been made is that of Fiorentina’s Milan Badelj. However, Fiorentina seems unwilling to let go of the Croatian at the moment. Stevan Jovetic could be key to the success of this deal, with a possible return of Jo-Jo to Firenze, in exchange for Badelj.
