Inter’s January transfer window could get kick-started with some fresh cash.
Ferreyra, agent of Columbian midfielder Fredy Guarin’s agent, arrived in Milan today to discuss the future of his client with Inter’s Sporting Directors Marco Branca and Piero Ausilio. The Colombian has sparked the interest of Chelsea, who are keen to snap him up to strengthen their team in January. With Inter president Erick Thohir’s arrival in the Lombard capital this week, the rumour mill’s flames are further fanned.
The Indonesian tycoon’s diktat is clear: sell first, buy later. According to Sky Italy‘s Gianluca Di Marzio Chelsea shouldn’t have a problem meeting Inter’s demands (somewhere between €15 – €18 million). In fact, Di Marzio says that a verbal agreement has practically been reached.
Guarin has scored 4 goals in 18 appearances (in all competitions) for Inter this year.
