Inter are on the lookout for a solid alternative to Samir Handanovic, or a replacement even, should the Slovenian keeper leave.
In the January window, Inter are likely to look for a midfielder (according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the big names are John Obi Mikel, Badelj and Lass Diarra.) but they will still be holding a few keepers under close observation. Youngsters Alex Meret (Udinese) and Alessio Cragno (Cagliari) are the hottest names for the position of Handonovic’s deputy. However, if Inter’s keeper were to leave, the incoming money could be spent on an even bigger name, Genoa’s Mattia Perin.
