The deal that would bring Danilo D’Ambrosio to Inter is in its final stages. The granata fullback is set to become a nerazzurro.
Inter’s and Torino’s brass are working on the deal in a meeting in Milan in these hours, putting together the last details.
This deal looked set already in the opening days of the January transfer window, but was stalled after a protracted negotiation for players who would be traded in return for the Neapolitan fullback.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, in exchange for D’Ambrosio Torino will receive €1.5 million, plus some Inter prospects. One of them is likely to be Marco Benassi who would presumably be joined by Matteo Colombi.
Benassi is a 19 year old center midfielder who is currently on loan to Livorno, where he has collected 7 appearances and his debut goal. Colombi, also 19, plays with Inter’s primavera squad as a forward.
The parties will meet tomorrow to finalize the deal.
The 25 year-old is a strong wingback with a scoring habit. He has scored 4 goals, provided 5 assists in 42 Serie A appearances.
