Sports judge Giampaolo Tosel has sentenced Inter’s Curva Nord to be closed for one match with the conditional for racist chants. Tosel had asked the federal prosecutor for a supplementary enquiry to establish that racist chants and booing against Milan players De Jong, Balotelli and Muntari were actually heard.
The FIGC prosecutor’s report, “allows us to make a safe decision, without any doubts, on the choirs and on their “loudness,” explains the Judge. Hence the decision to punish Inter with the closure of one of the section of the stadium. The sanction is suspended for one year, but it will become effective if they break the rule again.
