Inter’s GM takes today’s defeat into stride, and looks ahead at Inter’s Brozovic
Inter General Manager Marco Fassone spoke about Mancini’s team and about their upcoming week in the transfer market: “One must think positively although it’s not easy after such a loss. I think that Mancini has been very clear in the post-match hard work shall pay us off. We can go far”, he told Inter Channel.
Inter has been marred by injuries which might lead one to think of additional purchases in this transfer market: “They just keep piling on but we await to evaluate if additional investments are necessary before this window closes. Brozovic is another significant addition, like Shaqiri and Podolski. He’s a quality Croatian midfielder with an important growth ahead of him. Tomorrow we will complete all the required documentation and we will put him at Mancini’s disposal as of Wednesday”.
As Inter looks at the last week of this transfer market, Fassone looks back at the last very active week: “Ausilio works hard all day on that. There are restrictions with respect to the Europa League call ups, and we must substitute some existing players on that list with our new arrivals. We will not make transactions just to add names to the list. If there will be opportunities to reap, we will be present but I think that Inter’s transfer market has been one of excellent quality”, Inter’s GM concludes.
