It seems almost certain that Zinedine Zidane has decided to drop Colombian star James Rodriguez, who doesn’t seem to fit in with the Frenchman’s plans for Real Madrid.
El diez, who joined the merengues in 2014 after a breathtaking World Cup, is now inevitably on the wish list of Europe’s top clubs. Real Madrid seem prepared to let him go for the same amount they spent, circa 80 million euros.
According to El Mundo Deportivo, Inter is one of the interested clubs, adding to Juve, whose interest for the Colombian is widely known. Competition for Inter will include the likes of Chelsea, who have recently parted with Oscar, another attacking-midfielder. Though PSG seem the likely favourites, Inter’s Chinese owners, Suning, might be prepared for a big investment – In the Summer, Inter’s transfer market will be free from FFP (Financial Fair Play) regulations, allowing the nerazzurri to spend as much as they wish to strengthen their squad. Thus, it might be more than just a dream.
