Filippo Inzaghi, manager of AC Milan, spoke to Rai Sport after the 2-1 victory against Sassuolo.
“We had a great game tonight, we had 16 shots on goal, 12 inside the area, 1 post, and 1 crossbar. I’m very happy and we must continue on this bath. It’s the first time we’ve suffered, we scored and hit a post. Clearly if they have 10 men behind the ball, it won’t be easy for us. We hope to always create at least 3-4 quality chances no matter how we play.”
“Up front we had a good match, or else we wouldn’t have used Abate’s attacks to our advantage. Everyone had a good match, Pazzini, Cerci and El Shaarawy had a great match. This excludes Menez, who I rested today. We need to find a way to make all of our players play. Pazzini had a great match.”
“Pazzini? Someone has to sit down, either Pazzo, El Shaarawy, Cerci or Bonaventura. It’s not an easy thing to do. I try to take advantage of our great offensive quality. In Torino, I couldn’t really do it because we were down to 10 men and I had to use the second sub or risk the second yellow card for Muntari.”
