With another week of the January transfer window having come and gone, IFD is here to round up what happened over the past seven days in the lower leagues.


Serie B

27 year old Belgian striker Benjamin has left Avellino to join fellow Serie B side Frosinone.

Vittorio Parigini has joined Bari from Torino. The talented youngster had previously been on loan at Perugia and looks a shrewd addition to the ranks by the Galletti.

Latina midfielder Federico Moretti has left the Leonialti to join Avellino.

Federico Angiulli has signed on with Gennaro Gattuso’s Pisa. The midfielder, who was born in 1992 leaves Lega Pro club Reggiana.

More Bari news, as the club have loaned out Luca Guadluppi to Lega Pro club Taranto. The player, born 1996, had spent the first part of the season on loan at Fondi.

Trapani defender Lorenzo Carissoni has seen his loan cut short by the Sicilian club and will return to Torino.

Vicenza have reached an agreement to loan striker Giulio Ebagua from Pro Vercelli until the end of the season.

Carpi attacking midfielder Kevin Lasagna has agreed a deal to join Serie A side Udinese. The player however will remain with Carpi until the end of the season.

Alberto Cerri has cut his loan at SPAL short to join Serie A side Pescara.

Trapani have brought in Pescara keeper Mirko Pigliacelli in the hope that he will provided the solidity needed at the back so that they can avoid the drop.

Still with Trapani and the club has seen one of last seasons most impressive performers Bruno Petkovic leave to join Serie A club Bologna.

Veteran midfielder Stefano Mauri, 37 years old, has joined Bresica.

Pisa have signed 20 year old midfielder Roberto Zammarini from Lega Pro club Mantova.

Lega Pro

Venezia have signed attacker Giuseppe Caccavallo from Salernitana.

Roberto Masullo has agreed to sign for Racing Roma. The player rejected an offer from Melfi and will move from Siena to the Roman club.

Parma have been very busy in recent days, with both Matteo Scozzerella and Simone Edera. Further to that Cagliari midfielder Gianni Munari will join the club on Monday.

Racing Roma have also signed Slovakian Tomas Majtan.

Francesco Marano has joined Melfi from fellow Lega Pro side Viterbese

Lumezzane have made a double swoop for Giacomo Zappacosta (Midfielder) and Matteo D’Alessandro

Juve Stabia have signed Aniello Cutolo from Serie B side Virtus Entella.

Sambenedettese have signed Defender Francesco Rapisarda from Lumezzane.

Niccolo Romero has joined Piacenza from Feralpi Salo.

Ancona have loaned out Keeper Benedetto Bottaluscio (Born 1998) to Serie D side Legnago.

Viterbese have brought in veteran attacker Jefferson.


Confirmation of all deals has come from either Gianluca Di, Tuttomercatoweb or Official club accounts.

Of course other transfers have taken place, but we’d be here all day listing them all, so for now here is just a taster to wet your appetite.

For those wondering Serie D and below are not covered it is because their transfer windows took place from December 1st to 17th.
