Star of the Week: Mario Balotelli (OGC Nice)

Italian striker Mario Balotelli had a return to form as Nice ran riot over last year’s Ligue 1 champions Monaco at the Allianz Riviera by the scoreline 4-0.

The 27-year old would open the scoring in the 6th minute with a deftly taken penalty which he earned himself after being brought down. Later in the 60th minute, the former Milan hitman would score his second as he calmly latched onto a cross.

A call up from Giampiero Ventura maybe?
