Milan midfielder Juraj Kucka pleads for forgiveness after his sending off in the 4-2 defeat to Napoli.
A.C. Milan’s Juraj Kucka was given a second yellow by referee Paolo Valeri on dissent late in the second half on Saturday.
The Rossoneri fell to Napoli 4-2 at Stadio San Paolo, but the Slovakian midfielder knew he put his squad in a difficult position, especially against Udinese in a few weeks.
Juraj Kucka delivered this apologetic message on his Instagram account (@kuco33):
“I wanted to ask for forgiveness from the club, coach, squad and fans for my red card that left my teammates in difficulty during the game. I was mistaken for reacting against the referee, it wasn’t my intention. I’m asking for forgiveness also from him. It was a gesture that I didn’t mean and that I regret.”
