After Sunday’s scintillating 3-1 Derby win over Torino, Juventus have quickly begun preparations for the next clash in Serie A.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Khedira claimed his side was raring to go to welcome the Giallorossi to the J-Stadium.
“When the top two meet, it is always a fantastic occasion. We will be the home side so that will give us an important advantage. The boys are raring to go already and we can’t wait to test our mettle against a very good team in Roma.
“The derby was a great game. We did superbly to claw ourselves level before half time and even before then we were playing well, in spite of Torino’s opening goal. It was a deserved win: Toro are tough to beat and it was an important result both for the players and the fans.”
“The UCL draw? Porto are a good technical outfit and have demonstrated their quality by reaching the last 16. While you would not say that they are one of the favorites, they need to be approached with caution; only two perfect performances will see us through.
“As for ourselves, our challenge remains that of improving our style of play; we’ve made great strides in the past few weeks.
The two sides are currently separated by four points at the top of the table, with Juventus holding the advantage.
