Can Alexis Sanchez fulfil his Champions League aspirations with Arsenal, or would he have a better chance at Juventus?
Convincing Alexis Sanchez to stay in North London will be an all but easy task for Arsene Wenger, on what is his last year as Arsenal’s manager. The Gunners are known for their beautiful style of play, but also for their inconsistency and for their (recent) lack of silverware – is this pushing Sanchez away from them now that his career is hitting it’s climax? Interviewed by Sky Sports, the Chilean star revealed, “At the moment I’m very happy at Arsenal, I love the staff and I’m grateful to be here. My dream is to win the Premier League and the Champions League.” Sanchez’s mixed messages about his winning objectives naturally give rise to the question: Do you want to win with Arsenal or elsewhere, Alexis?
According to The Sun, el nino maravilla is considering an outstanding Chinese offer worth more than 600k euros per week. Sanchez’s response to the rumours was an evasive one: “I have an agent who deals with this kind of stuff. We’ll just see what happens.” Sanchez is also closely monitored by Juventus, who could decide to push for the striker, who’s contract expires next Summer, in January or, perhaps, in July. Could Juve be the right place for Sanchez to fulfil his Champions League goals?
