Allegri is pleased at his squad reaching the Coppa Italia Final but admits they struggled against Inter for most of the game.

Massimiliano Allegri spoke to Rai Sport in the post-game of Juventus’ win on penalties against Inter in the Coppa Italia Semi-Final.

On qualifying for the Final:

I am happy to have reached the Final. It was not easy because of numerous commitments in the season. For 70 minutes, we did not play. Inter played a great game, creating much difficulty for us. We should not have handed such chances to Inter. We could have scored and closed out the game before Extra-Time. It would have been a shame if we had been eliminated but all’s well that ends well.

On Rugani:

He is young and has great quality. He will one day be a starter for Juventus but he must play and get accustomed to the 3-man defense. With Barzagli beside him, he has done better.
