Juventus, Allegri looks ahead “I absolutely want to avoid Real Madrid”

The Bianconeri tactician spoke to the press following Juve’s 2-0 victory over Udinese at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side is back in the top spot for the time being, and depending on how Napoli’s match with Inter goes, Juve could reclaim the league lead with a game in hand.

“We still haven’t done anything yet,” Allegri told PremiumSport. “The season finishes in May. On Wednesday we advanced to the next round of the Champions League and today we’ve beaten Udinese. Now our attentions turn to Atalanta.

“We suffered a little bit today in the beginning of the match, but afterwards I can only give my compliments to the team, they played well.”

“Dybala’s getting better,” Allegri responded after being asked about his number 10. “The two goals against Lazio and then his performance in London has given him a mental boost. Higuain is also doing very good, even if he messed up the penalty today, remember he set Dybala up for the second. Wednesday is another must-win game for us, because Napoli is right there with us and we have to think about Atalanta.

“Tonight, however, we’ll have dinner calmly. Tonight I’ll be watching [Inter vs Napoli] hoping that Napoli doesn’t get a result. It’s normal to think that, seeing as we’re in a fight for the title with them.”

“Real Madrid is the favorite to win the Champions League. I absolutely do not want them in the quarterfinals seeing as they are far off in La Liga.”
