Juventus, Allegri: “Ronaldo is extraordinary”

Juventus Manager Massimiliano Allegri referred to Cristiano Ronaldo as “extraordinary” in his pre-match Press conference.

La Vecchia Signora will square-off against Real Madrid tonight in the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League.

The match is a repeat of last year’s Final where Los Blancos defeated the Bianconeri 4-1.

Allegri was asked about the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored 18 goals in his last 10 games for club and country.

“We have to be very good as a unit, I think we need to congratulate Ronaldo because for a player to be 30 or 31 and change his playing style completely is something extraordinary”.

The Old Lady Manager was asked whether Gareth Bale or Isco will start.

“You’d have to ask Zidane, I’m the Juventus Coach. I don’t understand the question. I’d say Bale, but maybe Isco, I don’t know”.

Paulo Dybala has been in superb form since recovering from his injury, and Allegri is expecting ‘La Joya’ to be influential for Le Zebre.

“He’s in great shape, he’s been working really well and he’s grown a lot mentally.

“I’m sure you saw that in Saturday’s match, the goal he scored clearly showed he’s in great shape and I’m sure he’ll play a great match tomorrow”.
