Juventus and Milan are negotiating with Real Madrid for the signature of Dani Ceballos.
Mundo Deportivo have reported that the 21 year-old midfielder is looking to move away from Los Blancos as he has struggled to find playing time under Zinedine Zidane this season.
Juventus and Milan are looking to bring the talented youngster to Italy on a two-year loan with an option and counter-option to buy.
The deal that the Bianconeri and the Rossoneri are trying to negotiate is similar to the one between Juventus and Real Madrid for Alvaro Morata in 2014.
In that deal, La Vecchia Signora spent €20 million to bring Morata to Turin and then sold him back to El Real two years later for €30 million.
Morata’s time with Le Zebre was impressive and he developed as a player in Serie A as he helped guide Juventus to back-to-back Scudetti and a Champions League Final in 2015.
Los Vikingos are hoping that if Ceballos transfers to Juventus or Milan in the summer his development will be similar to Morata’s.
It is unlikely that Los Merengues would allow Ceballos to transfer to La Madama or Il Diavolo on a permanent basis as Real Madrid spent €16.5 million on him in the summer as they signed him from Real Betis, beating the likes of Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester City for his services.
Ultimately it is up to Real Madrid to decide Ceballos’ future as they have already rejected Liverpool’s loan offer and Los Blancos will want to find the most suitable deal for a future superstar.
