The Juventus defender may be forced out of action from the first leg against the Spurs.

While injuries continue to pile up for the Torinese side, Andrea Barzagli is working to be fit for action ahead of Tuesday’s clash.

According to Juventus’ official website, the club stated the 36-year-old defender has been training by himself due to a calf problem on his right leg.

On Sunday afternoon, Barzagli underwent treatment at the J-Medical centre in hopes of recovering in time. However, it appears more likely the battle-hardened Italian will miss the first leg of the match.

Also out of the match are Paulo Dybala, Blaise Matuidi and Juan Cuadrado.
