Juventus scouts were in attendance at the Dragao Stadium to observe a pair of potential buys for the January transfer market.
Two names of interest that have surfaces for the Bianconeri are Otavio of Porto and Victor Lindelof of Benfica. The match between the two sides ended 1-1 but Juventus scouts were very impressed with both players.
According to Portuguese media, Juventus were very impressed by the midfielder Otavio and have reportedly begun to consider a January offer for the 21 year Brazilian. In addition, Juventus has continued to monitor Swedish center back Victor Lindelof who has been on their radar for some time. However, the competition for the 22 year is much more fierce has he has reportedly been on the radar of many English clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea and fellow Serie A side Inter.
With a struggling midfield as of late, it is interesting to note that the Brazilian youngster could add some much needed depth to the squad with the likes of Mario Lemina and Stefano Sturaro struggling as of late.
In terms of the defense, with recent injuries to Giorgio Chiellini and an aging Andrea Barzagli it will be interesting to see if Juventus see Lindelof as a long term replacement.
