Juventus and Cagliari could not come to an agreement over promising young forward Kwang-song Han.
The two parties had engaged in conversations for the North Korean on loan at Perugia since the current window opened this month, but it appears they could not make a move happen as Gianluca Di Marzio confirms an agreement was not reached earlier today.
The Bianconeri were working towards a deal that involved 50% of the fee for Italian striker Alberto Cerri (currently on loan with Serie B side Perugia) and 17-year old midfielder Fabrizio Caligara to Sardinia, but as it stands, the operation is off.
Juventus directors Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici have made a concerted effort to get the upper-hand on the competition by focusing on deals for young talent – either this month or in the summer. However, for the time being, Han’s future is not in Turin.
