After being close to securing the transfer of Axel Witsel this past mercato, Juventus are now considering another Belgian to add to their talented midfield in the form of Youri Tielemans.
While it is likely that Juventus will try to complete the deal for Belgian international Axel Witsel in January, Zenit are attempting to reject all negotiations until the player’s contract expires in the summer of 2017.
This stumbling block may force Juventus to look elsewhere as Beppe Marotta makes a new midfielder a top priority, given the recent injury problems the bianconeri have faced.
According to TuttomercatoWeb, Marotta and Paratici have turned their attention to Youri Tielemans, the 19-year-old midfielder of R.S.C Anderlecht, who they have been scouting for a while. The player is a more long-term option for the Turin club, being 8 years younger than his compatriot Witsel.
The teenager has impressed for a number of years in Belgium, becoming a starter for his club while, recently, gaining his first cap for his country.
Juventus are keen on adding a Belgian midfielder to their ranks, and both Witsel and Tielemans look set to be hot names in the upcoming mercato for the Italian champions.
