Juventus eye Manchester United defender

The Bianconeri have placed Matteo Darmian on their summer wishlist.

With reports earlier in the day suggesting Emre Can will sign with the Old Lady in July, SKY now says Matteo Darmian could also make the move south.

Juventus is thinking about a future with Stephan Lichtsteiner and Alex Sandro, who both in one way or another may depart the 6-time in a row Scudetto winners.

Darmian is finding space at a premium under Jose Mourinho, and did not even play against Derby County in the FA Cup.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio another Italian fullback abroad, Cristiano Piccini, who plays for Sporting CP is also on the club’s radar.

Darmian moved to Manchester United from city-rivals Torino in 2015 for €18 million. The year prior he won the ‘Pallone d’Azzurro’ for his performances with the Italian national team.
