The Juventus attacker is set to miss at least one game following an ankle injury.
Gonzalo Higuain only managed to stay on the pitch for roughly a quarter of an hour against Torino. The injury occurred only five minutes into the game and the Argentine hobbled around before Massimiliano Allegri was forced to take him off.
On Monday, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported Higauin would be out for the games in both Serie A and the Coppa Italia against Atalanta due to a “strong knock” to his right ankle.
However, it’s much more likely that he will play on 3 March against Lazio and almost a certainty to play against Tottenham in the Champions League on 7 March.
Close to being fully fit is Paulo Dybala, who played about half an hour on Sunday afternoon against Torino.
