According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Juventus are focused on signing an Italian defensive reinforcement this January in the form of either Matteo Darmian or Mattia De Sciglio.
The Report points out that, despite the bianconeri’s excellent summer transfer window where players such as Gonzalo Higuain and Dani Alves were signed, the Juventus hierarchy is now willing to focus on adding to its Italian core.
TuttoMercato claim that the Italian champions would like to add an Italian defender to their roster in the form of either Matteo Darmian or Mattia De Sciglio who are both relatively young Italian internationals.
Matteo Darmian, currently at Manchester United, is also attracting interest from Inter Milan, as is Domenico Berardi. The Italian youngster is attracting a lot of interest from Italy and abroad and it is no secret that Juventus have wanted this player for a while.
The report points out the excellent relationship between the Turin club and Sassuolo, which is keeping Juventus fairly confident they will sign the gem in 2017. However, it will be Berardi who has the final say on his next destination.
The future looks more and more Italian for the reigning Serie A champions.
