With the eighth round of Serie A action around the corner, Juventus are starting to load up their artillery for their trip to Udinese this Saturday.
Positive news have emerged from the Juventus medical office as it is believed that Max Allegri will be getting some precious weapons back at his disposal for their trip this weekend. According to Goal Italia, Mehdi Benatia and Claudio Marchisio are expected to be called up for the Bianconeri’s matchday squad this Saturday.
It is no doubt that Claudio Marchisio’s return brings an enormous amount of excitement for the entire Juventus organization. Il Principino last featured for the Italian champions in April where he suffered a knee injury during a match vs Palermo that was eventually won by Juventus 4-0.
Although it is obvious that Juventus are perfectly fine without Marchisio, it is no secret that the 30-year-old’s experience and tenacity will serve as a burst of speed for a Juventus team that is looking to sprint into their sixth straight Scudetto and a shot at European glory.
