Nedved confessed that Juve want to go for it all this season.
Juventus vice-president and club legend Pavel Nedved spoke to Czech website iDNES.cz regarding Juventus’ current goals as well as some of his personal experiences and opinions as a player:
“With Juventus we have returned to the top in Italy, now president Agnelli wants to return to the top in Europe. We want to win the Champions League, we are going to try.”
Best teammate? “I don’t want to offend anyone, I choose Zlatan Ibrahimovic. An attacker who chopped defenses. Powerful, tall, and with incredible technique. When he first arrived at Juventus, he never shot on goal and Capello would punish him. Zlatan improved and began to score a lot.”
Most frustrating opponent? “I say Zanetti. He had the same DNA as me. Hard to beat, focused and tireless. It was hard to get the better of him.”
Manchester? “Because of yellow cards, I missed that match. It was the biggest disappointment. It could have been my greatest success. Where would I have liked to play? I would say Manchester United.”
