The Uruguayan starlet will be a Bianconero in the summer of 2017.
Juventus’ CEO Giuseppe Marotta met with the president of Boca Juniors Daniel Angelici in Milan this afternoon to discuss the transfer of Rodrigo Bentancur.
The 19-year-old Uruguayan has been in the center of talks between the two clubs going back to when Juventus allowed Carlos Tevez to leave on a free transfer to join Boca.
Marotta told reporters today after the meeting, “We’ll do everything we can to sign him. Juventus enjoys an excellent relationship with Boca dating back to the Tevez deal.”
According to reports from Italy, Juventus will file a payment of €9.4 million on April 20th to sign the teenage starlet.
