In order to ensure Paulo Dybala remains in bianconero for the foreseeable future, Juventus intend to insert a hefty release clause in his new contract.
In recent days, it’s been reported that Juventus gem Paulo Dybala will put pen to paper on a new contract that will tie him down to the club until 2021. It will reportedly be worth approximately seven million euros per season, a figure that the bianconeri will hope will entice the former Palermo man to stay with the club long term. If that wasn’t enough, Juventus have another plan.
According to Premium Sport, Juventus are thinking about adding a mega release clause in the Argentine’s contract to keep the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City at bay. The Italian paper have reported that the release clause would be in the region of 150 million euros. At the moment, it’s just an idea and it remains to be seen whether the Italian champions will actually go through with it. However, it will all become clearer once Dybala signs his new contract shortly.
