Recent reports from Italy are suggesting that Juventus are set to meet with Pescara over Gianluca Lapadula.
According to Sportitalia, Juventus are getting ready to make a bid for Gianluca Lapadula. By the end of the week, the Italian champions are going to meet with Pescara to discuss a potential transfer. At the moment, the bianconeri are willing to offer Hordur Magnusson, who is on loan at Cesena in addition to an undisclosed fee. That said, the striker would only join Juventus in the summer after spending the last half of the season with the Serie B club.
The 25-year-old is enjoying a breakout season with Pescara where he has 11 goals and five assists in 23 appearances. In the last few seasons, Lapadula has bounced around from team to team but has finally been able to find consistency at Pescara. His goals and overall play have been a major reason behind Pescara’s impressive form this season that has them in third place.
At Juventus, he would find himself playing in a strike force containing Paulo Dybala, Mario Mandzukic, Simone Zaza and Alvaro Morata. While Juventus haven’t brought anyone to the first team this January, they have already secured Stefano Sensi as well as Rolando Mandragora.
