Former Lazio star and current Juventus backup Hernanes has become a January transfer target for English club Watford.
According to goal.com, Juventus midfielder Hernanes is being touted as a possible addition to Walter Mazzarri’s Watford.
The Brazilian has not always been the most consistent of players during his time with the Bianconeri, but Allegri refused to sell him due to a lack of squad numbers.
Meanwhile, Watford have a good relationship with Juventus, having purchased Roberto Pereyra previously. Italy’s first-place side would only accept a transfer if a sizable offer is made by the Premier league outfit in which case Beppe Marotta would target Luiz Gustavo of Wolfsburg.
Juventus aim to recoup some of the 13.5 million euros they paid for Hernanes in 2015. The club, however, will only do this if required too, and may be more inclined to sell in the summer once the campaign is completed.
