With Sead Kolasinac’s contract expiring in the summer, Juventus have opened negotiations with Schalke 04 for the left back and are close to finding an agreement that would see the Bosnian join the side in January.
Last transfer window, Juventus missed out an Axel Witsel and his expiring deal but told themselves they would sign the player in January. When January rolled around and the bianconeri still hadn’t agreed a small departing fee for the Belgian, in swooped Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian and took Witsel from under their noses. This time around, however, Juventus will allow no such thing and are nearing an agreement with Schalke 04 for Sead Kolasinac.
The player’s contract is expiring this summer but the German side are demanding five million euros to part ways with the player in January. Kolasinac is said to be pushing for a move to Juventus and is only interested in signing with the bianconeri. As a result, he is reportedly pushing his side to accept Juve’s offer of 2-3 million euros, according to Premium Sport. Should he arrive, Kolasinac will sign a contract that would tie him down to the club until 2021 worth two million euros per season.
