Gianluca Lapadula spoke to Milannews at Malpensa before heading to England for a friendly.
“After a little bit of an absence it’s important to find space and minutes and to start working with the rest of the team.
“My role is a striker, but in football you need to know how to adapt. The coach asks me to run a lot, to put minutes in my legs.
“Being one of the last signings in the Berlusconi era? It’s a thing that made me run towards Milan, to be wanted by the President. His faith is a positive note.
“The coach wants a lot of running and a lot of quality, like Oddo [his coach at Pescara]. I’ve settled in nicely here in this system of play and I hope I do well here, too.”
“I’m working hard to get back to the top. I can say that in attack, we have many and it’s a good thing.”
