Lazio hosted their last friendly at Auronzo di Cadore today, beating Perugia 3-0 in an 80 minute affair. The Roman side had goals from Ledesma (pk), Novaretti, and Felipe Anderson.
Prior to the opening whistle there was tension in the stadium caused by the rivalry between the two fan bases. Security and police had to intervene before the situation escalated to the point of violence. Besides the crowd trouble there was also a protest staged by the fans against President Lotito regarding the failed acquisition of Davide Astori.
Lazio will now return to Rome and after 3 days off will resume training at Formello.
