After a relatively quiet start to the transfer window, Lazio are set to ramp up their activity in the coming weeks.
According to Gazzamercato, Lazio are awaiting Rennes’ approval before their transfer for Paul-Georges Ntep goes through. They have identified him as Antonio Candreva’s replacement and have already reached an agreement with the player. However, Lyon have recently inquired for the Frenchman and have entered the Ntep sweepstakes.
The biancocelesti have also made an offer of 5 million euros for Rostov’s Bastos and are awaiting a response in that regard shortly. Lazio are reportedly not done there as reports from England suggest that they are interested in Tottenham’s Nabil Bentaleb and may potentially make an offer for him before the window closes.
Lastly, Rodrigo Caio is another name being thrown up for Lazio as their search for a center-back continues. Sevilla were previously interested in him but have since dropped out of the race for the defender.
