Lazio’s Antonio Candreva is reportedly on his way out of the club this summer but Atletico Madrid seems an unlikely destination for the time being.
According to Sky Sport 24, Atletico Madrid offered Lazio 15 million euros plus bonuses, a fee the biancocelesti deemed too low. The capital club are reportedly holding out for an offer in the region of 25 million euros. Atletico, on the other hand, are currently unwilling to match that figure. However, recent reports are suggesting that both parties may reach an agreement for an estimated fee of 18 to 20 million euros.
Candreva had yet another stellar season with Lazio and has attracted interest from a number of clubs. The Italian international has already informed the club that he wants to leave and will do so when the right offer comes.
