Leonardo Pavoletti is on many clubs wishlists as the summer transfer window nears.
The 27 year old Genoa striker had a breakout season, scoring 14 goals in 25 matches. Had injury not kept him out for a large portion of the second half of the season, he may have well reached the 20 goal mark.
With his great performance for Genoa, Lazio have taken notice and club president Claudio Lotito has begun to make moves to bring him to the capital city.
Lotito met with Genoa’s president Enrico Preziosi for dinner to discuss the transfer, according to Sky Sport. The Grifone value the forward at around €13 million and won’t go any lower than that.
However according to Lazio based sources, Pavoletti is waiting for the situation at AC Milan to develop so he can see if he has a chance to break into the lineup. With that being said, Pavoletti hasn’t refused a move to Lazio, but is rather just waiting on Milan to make a move.
