Recently crowned Premier League champions Leicester City are rumoured to be targeting a move for rising star, and Pescara Striker, Gianluca Lapadula.
In an attempt to bolster their squad, The Foxes have begun preparation for next season. They have identified Pescara star Gianluca Lapadula as potentially ideal addition to their roster, and are rumoured to be lining up a bid in the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Claudio Ranieri has made contact with Pescara president Daniele Sebastiani in regards to the strikers availability. However, sources report that the call was more informative, rather than a concrete offer.
Another side could possibly throw a spanner in the works for The Foxes proposed move for the striker, as reports indicate that Juventus are also after the Delfino striker and the Leicester gaffer is well aware of this competition.
Currently, Lapadula is valued by the Pescara side within the region of €2 million, but of course this price could rise due to the competition from the both sides for his services.
Lapadula has had a fantastic season and has been in outstanding form, notching 24 goals out 37 Serie B appearances, including 10 assists. It will be interesting to see how this develops over the summer.
