Livorno shot stopper Francesco Bardi’s agent, Vincenzo Rispoli, added some clarity on the player’s future.
“I can assure that until the end of June he won’t leave Livorno”, he told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
Indiscretions in recent weeks suggested that Bardi would move to Sardinia as trade bait for Cagliari’s Radja Nainggolan. Rispoli denies this categorically: “Inter has decided not to sell any part of their stake because they believe in Bardi’s qualities. He can represent Inter’s future”.
“Francesco is focused on working hard to maintain and improve the form he has displayed in the first half of the season, and on helping Livorno stave off relegation. Any talk about him at the senior national team is neither here nor there – his national team right now is the Under 21”, he concluded.
Bardi has made 17 appearances for Livorno this season.
