With the transfer window closing in two weeks Napoli have identified two defenders to bolster their back-line.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Martin Caceres is the likeliest defender to join Napoli at the moment. The Uruguayan international is currently a free agent and may just join Napoli. However, the partenopei would prefer signing Torino’s Nikola Maksimovic instead but Mihajlovic’s side aren’t making it easy. Caceres, by contrast, is much easier to sign which could prove decisive in the coming days.
In addition, Zenit have set an asking price of 10 million euros for left back Domenico Criscito. Napoli will present the Russian giants with an offer for the former Palermo man in the near future.
