In a strange twist, Bruno Peres may no longer be a target for the Citizens.
According to speculation in the transfer market new Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is targeting Torino’s defensive stalwart Bruno Peres.
But in contrast The Manchester Evening News have released a report stating otherwise, in which The Brazilian is no longer on Guardiola’s shortlist, and thus is not interested in bringing the Brazilian to Manchester.
Peres was being linked to the Citizens in a €14 million fee in the upcoming window in order to revamp the Citizens defense.
It was clear that despite quite a few sizable transfer sums for defensive reinforcements in the past 2 seasons, quite a few of these players were left wanting on multiple occasions, as Manchester City vainly attempted to win the Premier League and Champions League titles.
