Paul Pogba, who vacationed recently in Turin wanted to clarify some of his earlier words.
Speaking to ANSA, Pogba recalled when he angered fans about his “Juventus was like a vacation” story, shortly after rejoining the Red Devils in August.
“Juventus is the most important club I’ve played at during my professional career thus far and has a special place in my heart.
“I don’t like the words I used earlier being erroneously misinterpreted.
“Manchester United is my home, I knew that I would go back. It’s like I went out on vacation. I’m very grateful for the happiness, for the love, the faith and the opportunity Juventus gave me.
“They played me in a role that made me the player I am today. And for that, I’ll always be thankful to Juventus.
“The fans, the club and the city all made me feel at home, they always supported me and they were fantastic. At the same time, Manchester is where I developed in my youth days, it’s my home and the club always had a special place in my heart. I’ll do my best to have success here and, to make my club and fans proud of me and my dreams.”
