Manchester United are set to offer Atalanta 40 million Euros for their midfield prospect Frank Kessié.
According to The Sun, talks are ongoing between both clubs as Jose Mourinho continues to push for the 20-year-old’s transfer.
Over the past few weeks, Kessié has been linked to multiple Premier League teams such as Everton, Chelsea, and Manchester United, with the latter two holding an edge over the Merseyside club.
From Atalanta’s perspective, it is fair to assume that the Orobici are in no rush to let go of the young Ivorian. The Bergamo-based club is enjoying a very positive season, currently sitting in 7th place with only one point separating them from Europe.
Although Kessié has been a crucial part to Atalanta’s success this season, it will be hard for the Nerazzurri to reject a multi-million dollar offer. They recently sold midfielder Roberto Gagliardini to Inter Milan for a fee that’s believed to be over 30 million. Regardless of how it ends, it seems that Kessie’s future has England written all over it.
