Inter’s undefeated run comes to a halt thanks to Fiorentina on Sunday evening at the San Siro.

Falling to second place in the table, Mancini spoke to media post-match following his first loss of the season.

“After the first two goals the game was difficult. With Miranda being sent off the game was over, it’s one of those matches that start in a pre-determined way. We couldn’t do much, but Fiorentina did well and deserved to win.”

“With 10 men we made a few changes, starting with 4-4-1 to concede fewer goals but the game was already compromised. ”

Regarding his player performances:

“Tonight we did not see the usual Handanovic. On nights like these, everything goes wrong. There is little to say, with eleven men we may have been able to recover but after we became ten, it became much more difficult.”

“We lost this game but other opinions do not change what I think. Inter is a great team, we need to improve in all areas because at this stage of the season I do not believe there are any perfect teams.”
