Mancini spoke to media following a 1-1 draw against Sampdoria on the road in Week 7 Serie A action.
Thanks to Perisic’s equalizer, the nerazzurri are leaving the Stadio Luigi Ferraris with one point. Considering Sampdoria are undefeated at home this season, it was a decent result for Inter coming off a loss from Fiorentina last week. This is the first draw that Inter have earned this season.
Mancini chose to stick with a similar line up as per last week, having to adjust for Miranda being suspended from receiving a red card.
“At first we conceded two or three counterattacks where they could have scored, but we did better in the second half. Sampdoria are a good team. It was a tough match.
In the second half we played much more physically. It’s important to finish the match on a high-note. We could have won, but in the end we secured a draw.”
