Marcello Lippi nixes the rumors of a manager role on the Rossonero bench and says he has not spoken with the club.
Speaking with Rai Radio 2, World-Cup Winning coach Marcello Lippi shut the door on the possibility of taking over the bench at A.C. Milan:
It has been a while since it has been talked about but there is nothing to it. The only bench which I am sitting on at the moment is on the Promenade of Viareggio.
Lippi also took a moment to speak about Claudio Ranieri’s achievement in the Premier League:
The Leicester fairy-tale is not comparable to what has happened in Italy. Osvaldo Bagnoli’s Verona won thanks to a plan. It is not the same as finishing last or third to last and then winning the title the following year.
